Domaine de la Maurette is located in La Motte en Provence in the heart of the Var region of southern France. The vineyards cover fifty acres and are planted on rich clay and limestone soils. The domaine is owned and run by Bruno and Philippe Jouffroy since 1990. Their first vintage was released in 1991 and to date this auspicious date is used as the name of their prestige cuvée.
